From Baptism to Tearism

Baptism
On May 2nd, our little guy was Baptized. It was a crazy day but a beautiful event. He was baptized and confirmed by his proud dad. Carson was so happy to spend the time with all his friends and family. He had quite a crowd there for him. For the program, his cousins (14 in all) sang the musical number When I am Baptized . And yes, I cried. Did I do enough to prepare him to become aware of accountability? Always a worry I have... preparing my little ones for this big big life. Oh how I love my kids!!!!!

Invitation for the Event

We were so happy for all the support! I think we had over 60-70 people attend. We feel so loved. "A's" hair is so funny! She still pulls out bows and rubber bands and looks like Bozo the Clown.

Dance Competition
The morning of May 2nd (same day as baptism) was the craziest day ever. That morning "C" had a Scout ward yard sale, then it was his pinewood derby that afternoon. At the same time it was "W's" Dance competition in Utah. We barely made it back in time for "C's" Baptism!!! Crazy day I say!!!

My next post will be some better photo's of "W's" Dancing. These did not turn out very well because I had my little one tugging on me the whole time.

Pinewood Derby

"C" and his Dad did an awesome job for his Pinewood Derby car. C wanted a Speed Racer car. It turned out he took 2ND in the Ward and 6Th in District. Way to go little guy! Not bad for your first year!!

Bike-A-Thon

On May 9th, "C" participated in a Bike-A-thon. It was a fundraiser for a local charity. All the kids had fun. "C" managed to get in about five miles. Way to go buddy!

These girls were so cute! They were the cheering section for all the kids. We all laughed.
