For many years, Blair and I had anticipated having a family. We always wanted a Carson. The big irony of this was that when we were bringing our little Carson into the world, the Football player, Heisman trophy winner, star quarterback Carson Palmer also emerged. People asked if we named our baby after him. No. In fact, to be honest I never even knew who he was until people asked. So, through the years, we have just made a game out of the issue.
Naming kids is such a funny thing. You get a name fixed in your head before naming a child and the world wants to know the source. Well, we named Carson after a little neighbor boy. We loved the little guy and he was sweet, gentle and the CUTEST kid ever. He would come over and play at our home when we were first married. We wanted our baby to have those same qualities. So....... join the Carson Palmer fever. One may be famous but the other is very dear and precious to us!.
