Ho hum, another week behind us. Can life just slow down??? Our plans to Southern Utah changed quickly when DH had a mandatory meeting to attend to for his director. So instead, the kids and I went to Orem for a few days. Of course - it rained and snowed but we survived. We were just happy to get away. The children had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. On Wednesday, C, W, and myself went to the mall. We had a great time there. We even bought all our Easter clothes. We of course had to shop at Build-A-Bear and the Disney Store. W asked if people lived at the mall so that she could move in some day.
The next day we decided to go to Temple Square. I wanted to take some pictures of C for his Baptism announcement. I'm afraid I got a little carried away. I even put the girls in their Easter outfits. People thought we were attending a wedding. C looked so handsome and the girls were just darling. Everyone stopped to watch as the girls stopped to smell flowers (I'll post those pic's later ) and so I took pictures. They were so cute! I don't even have enough time to post all the photos so I'll just post a few. Besides, TODAY WAS W's BIRTHDAY!!! I need to post about that tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who called and sent phone calls and gifts. Everyone is so good to my little ones!
I loved this shot but I really struggled in getting it just right. The children's reflections in the window are throwing off balance in their shapes. In hindsight, the real focus of this picture should be the Temple. Even though it rained, it still looks nice.
"A" was such a ham when we took pictures of she and "W" with flowers. The Sun was finally peeking through and she was smelling flowers left and right and then saying..... Ahhhhh toot foof's. Translation: Ahh, Cute Flowers.
As you may know by now, we are always calling my baby girl " little buttercup" .
I just about died laughing when I got home and saw these photos of the kids. We went to the Joseph Smith Building. There they have made the most wonderful children's center full of hands on activities and a large wall mural. It portrays the immigrants coming into America. The kids posed however they wanted and "A" even pretended to cry when we told her the ships were going bye bye. My only problem is, what do I do with shots like these?? Is there a theme? I don't know.. it's kind of silly really.
